Palm

Palm

Palms, like the Parlor Palm or Majesty Palm, can thrive indoors with consistent watering and careful placement. Their lush, tropical foliage creates a fun vibe in any room.

Pet Toxicity

Palms are general considered non-toxic to dogs and cats, but be sure to check your specific variety.

Light

Palms thrive in bright, indirect light. Keep them out of direct sunlight to avoid scorching their leaves. Some varieties can tolerate or even prefer more diffused light.

Water Requirements

Palms like to stay consistently moist, but allow the top of the soil to dry out between watering to avoid root rot, and always allow your plant to drain thoroughly after watering. They appreciate an occasional mist or placement in a natural humid environment.

Watch out for…

Beware of fluctuating temperatures - palms like a consistent, moderate temperature, so avoid placing near cold windows, drafty spots, and areas prone to harsh temperature changes.
